Say It with Berlin: Day 2

With yesterday's (24/7/16) tour basically forfeited due to flight cancellations and what not, today was cramped with 2 days worth of itinerary. We walked for a total of 6 hours today. The weather was extremely hot, and we need to pay if we want to use the washroom.

Today, we walked through, practically the sights of the city center. And I meant, walk through. Yesterday's unfortunate incident truly affects us for today. The rest of the trip should be back to normal though.

Anyways, our guide for today was our very own, Dr. John Buffinga. He knows the history of every building that he showed us. We went through the Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, where the Berlin Wall was used to be, and many many more other places. Unfortunately, we simply breezed through them due to, again, the incident. (We'll just call 24/7/16 the incident, from now on)

Basically, today was a day of walking, and taking pictures. We had a strict schedule. The idea was that we all touched down, check-in our hostel, then immediately start our day with the tour, so by the time we finish the tour, and back to our hostel, we would be so very tired, and then be able to beat the jetlag. Fortunately, jetlag was still beaten, as everyone was tired from "the incident", but the tour was not done. Some of us already went to these places while waiting for the rest to come.

It was still a very nice experience. We learnt lots about the city, some of us got sunburn, but all of us brought back some very tired legs. We also used the public transport system for the first time today. We got separated unfortunately, because some of us were too fascinated by efficiency of the system.

We came back, took a break, went out for dinner, and stayed in the hostel ever since, beaten and sweaty. It was, still a fun day overall.
Berlin is an ever progressing city

If I heard Dr. Buffinga correctly, when the city is building a building, they hide it behind a canvas, so you don't see the whole mess.
